Sheri Ladley-Calamusa dance teacher Colts Neck NJ
 

Sheri Ladley-Calamusa

Founder & Artistic Director 

Sheri Ladley-Calamusa has trained in all dance syllabus, including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, floor barre, and partnering at New York City's Steps and Broadway Dance Center. As a professional dancer she earned her Actors Eligibility Card and continued her training in Broadway vocal instruction and Skinner speech method, as well as Meisner acting technique. Her professional dance career began at an early age dancing with recording artists, cruise lines, off-Broadway shows, industrials, theatrical productions for revues appearing in Atlantic City, Puerto Rico, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Barry Manilow's Copacabana, and Monte Carlo. Traveling as a professional dancer and taking instruction from international teachers and choreographers has given Sheri the foundation from which she has built her career.

Since establishing the Academy in 1995, Sheri has taught, choreographed, coached and directed Colts Neck Dance and its dancers. Sheri feels honored to be given the opportunity to share the love of dance with those in the dance community, its teachers, students and their families.



Vicki Bond dance teacher Colts Neck NJ
 

Victoria Bond

Instructor & Choreographer

Victoria Bond acquired a Dance Performance and Choreography B.F.A. and an English B.A. with a concentration in creative writing. In school, she was awarded a Fellows scholarship which resulted in a final research and performance project that revolved around engaging the performer through schematic images, metaphors, and liminality. At Elon University she danced and choreographed for Dancing in the Landscape 2015, Fall Dance Concert 2015, 2016, and 2017, Black History Month 2017 and 2018, Red Circle 2016, 2017, and 2018, as well as Dance Works 2016 and 2018. After her graduation in 2019, Bond performed with Valletto dance company in their summer performance project. She has choreographed and performed in several music videos under the videography of Ben Lieberman. Furthermore, Bond will premier her New Jersey based contemporary dance company, RISTIQUE, in the Lampshade Session series in the fall of 2020.

When it comes to her style, Victoria states that she craves movement and dancers that expose their emotional vulnerability and fearless physicality and fluidness. Bond's movement has also been quoted as being very "emotionally involved and quite physical."



Ashley Clack dance teacher Colts Neck NJ
 

Ashley Clack

Instructor & Choreographer

Ashley Clack holds a B.A. Dance minor Education from Mason Gross School of The Arts at Rutgers University. She previously attended The Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago. She was a guest lecturer at Temple University. Ashley tap danced in New York City at The Cotton Club in Harlem with Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards and The Sophisticated Ladies. She performed on Good Morning America LIVE on ABC with rap artist Silento, Dancing With The Stars, 'Evolution of Dance Man', and Mickey Mouse. She attended Jersey Tap Fest and Sarah Reich's Tap Music Project on full-scholarship. Ashley also attended Tap City: The New York City Tap Festival and performed at The Tap Extravaganza. Ashley had the opportunity to receive additional training from The Joffrey Ballet School and M.A.D.D. Rhythms Tap Collective.

Ashley has choreographed and danced for national and international commercials. Her choreography was showcased at NYC Dance Arts, Disney World, Six Flags Great Adventure, Fleet Week on The Intrepid, Dance Astoria Choreographer's Festival, Main Street Theater Company, and Pivot Theatre Company. Other performance credits include: NJPAC, Symphony Hall, The Strand, Wells Fargo Center, The Manhattan Center, opening for Jabbawockeez, promotions with Paramount Pictures, promotions with Chicago: The Musical (Broadway), and has appeared on So You Think You Can Dance.



Licia Fazzini dance teacher Colts Neck NJ
 

Licia Fazzini

Instructor & Choreographer

Licia Fazzini has danced most of her life. She teaches creative movement, combination classes teaching ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical in the recreational and competitive dance classes with Colts Neck Dance. She is certified by Dance Educators of America, Rhythm Works Integrative Dance (Special Needs Program), and is a certified Yoga instructor ERYT, SUP, and Yoga Paddle Boarding.

Licia has performed with New Jersey Ballet Company and she is certified in CPR. She has won many awards for her choreography and has been seen at Disney and World Dance Championships.





Victor Hom dance teacher Colts Neck NJ
 

Victor Hom

Instructor & Choreographer

Victor Hom has been dancing for most of his life with over 34 years of experience. Some of his early training in ballet and modern dance was with the Dance Theater of Harlem, Pennsylvania Academy of Ballet, Nutmeg Ballet, Hamilton Ballet Theater and the Princeton Ballet School as a scholarship student. Victor received his BFA in Dance from SUNY Purchase. He also studied pedagogy with distinguished authors John Barker, School of Classical Dance and John White, Teaching Classical Dance.

As a professional dancer, Victor toured internationally with the Caracas Ballet performing on stages around the world including Israel, China, Russia and Venezuela. He has also danced nationally with HT Chen and Dancers. His performance garnered critical acclaim from Richard Christiansen, the Chief Dance Critic of the Chicago Tribune, saying "Victor Bob Hom, is a Chen Dancer of speed, grace and elegant technique...". He was also invited to compete in the "Dancing With the Stars" National Tour. Throughout the years, Victor has taught master classes at Arizona State University, Jacksonville University, Columbia College, Hunter College, Mercer County Community College, Temple University and his alma mater SUNY Purchase. Victor was USAG safety certified and has coached athletes in gymnastics and tumbling for several gyms including Central Jersey All Stars, Sunburst Gymnastics and Eastern Gymnastics. Victor is very excited to join the Colts Neck Dance and Performing Arts Academy and is looking forward to bringing out the best in all its students.



Cynthia Pearsall dance teacher Colts Neck NJ
 

Cynthia Pearsall

Instructor & Choreographer

Cynthia Pearsall is a dancer, choreographer and teacher who received her education from Rutgers, Mason Gross Schools of the Arts. She graduated in May 2022 with a BFA in Dance and Minor in Human Resource Management. Since the age of three, Pearsall grew up taking dance classes at CND in all sorts of styles such as contemporary, lyrical, ballet, pointe, jazz, acro and tap. During her time at Mason Gross she deeply focused on contemporary/modern, ballet, and improvisation techniques and was able to broaden her dance education by taking classes such as yoga, pilates mat, gaga, African fusion, classical Indian styles (Kathak and Odissi), bollywood, Laban movement, and pointe.

While also at Rutgers, Cynthia has been a part of works choreographed by Pam Tanowitz, John Evans, Chien-Ying Wang, Sean Curran, Lynn Neuman and other undergraduate students. Pearsall hopes to use her dance training to continue performing, collaborate with other artists on projects and share her passion and love for dance through teaching.

Ingrid Pearsall

As a child, Ingrid Pearsall danced with NJ Dance Theatre Guild under Alfredo Corvino and studied at the School of American Ballet- Balanchine Technique (Madame Dudin Madame Tumkovsky, Elise Reiman, Richard Rapp, Alexander Danilova). She was a full Scholarship student with American Ballet Theatre-Intermediate and Advanced Preprofessional levels (Leon Danilean, Patricia Wilde, Nancy Clement, Madame Merinowa, Madame Pereyslavic, Jurgen Schneider, Alexander Minz, Guest Teachers). She was a member of the Basler Ballet- Heinz Spoerli Director/Choreographer. Danced in many full length ballets and short pieces with original choreography by Heinz Sperli. Worked with Hans Van Mannen of Het National when he set Squares on the Company. ("Nutcracker","Giselle", "La Fille Mal Gardee", "Ondine" as well as short pieces, "Serende", "Squares", "Brahms", etc.). Participated in the filming of three ballet pieces for European TV ("Pulcinella"-"Brahms"-" Traueme" set to Wesendock Lieder).

Ingrid toured parts of Europe and performed at the Brooklynn Academy of Music. Member of the Israeli Classical Ballet Company - Completed a tour of the USA, including a perfomance at "City Center" NY with the Company. Locally danced various leading roles with "Shore Ballet Company." Completed Royal Academy of Ballet Workshops for Dance Teachers- Grades 1-6. Currently an ABT (American Ballet Theatre) certified Teacher for ballet levels 1-5. Ingrid is constantly attending brush-up courses and events to continue her dance teacher education, such as programs run at the NYC ABT studios and through Rutgers University-Mason Gross- hosting ABT day.



Kelsey Pillari Kuchma dance teacher Colts Neck NJ
 

Kelsey Pillari

Instructor & Choreographer

Kelsey Pillari started her dance education at Colts Neck Dance and Performing Arts Academy at the age of 3. She studied at Joffrey Ballet School's summer intensives during her middle school years as well as the University of the Arts pre-college summer programs during her high school summers. Kelsey was apart of the performing arts program at Red Bank Catholic High School where she performed multiple shows per year and traveled to Florida to perform in the Orange Bowl halftime in 2010. Kelsey graduated from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia in 2014, where she received a BFA in modern dance performance. During her undergraduate years, she studied under choreographers from Koresh Dance Company, Philadanco, Ballet X and Dance Theatre of Harlem. After college Kelsey was part of Derling Dance Arts Dance Company and performed a collaborative dance piece called Fairy Tales with Jay Alders in 2015. She is also a fitness instructor at Perspirology in Sea Bright, NJ.

 

Kelsey has been teaching at Colts Neck Dance for 8 years and specializes in modern, contemporary, lyrical, and jazz. Kelsey enjoys spending time with her husband, family and dog Luna.

Karen Riley

Manager/Front Desk

Karen Riley is a lifelong resident of Monmouth County. Her love of dance began at the age of three at the Leah Mauer School of Dance in Red Bank. For over 20 years she has enjoyed managing the front desk of the studio providing client services, assisting students and the staff.

Karen enjoys yoga, hiking, and spending time at the beach with her family.






Marcy Zieve dance teacher Colts Neck NJ
 

Marcy Zieve

Instructor & Choreographer

Marcy Zieve began dancing at the age of 3 and has studied with respected teachers throughout the tristate area. She studied Theatre and Dance at Ithaca College. After graduation, Marcy enjoyed a career as a performer. Credits include the national tour of South Pacific and sailing the seas as an entertainer for Holland America Line, as well as numerous musicals. She transitioned into teaching and has taught creative movement, ballet, tap, jazz, and musical theater at studios in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Marcy is very grateful to be able to watch her students foster a love for dance, while building their confidence and having fun! Marcy is passionate about animals, books, and yoga. She is the proud mother of 2 beautiful children, Mia and Matthew.
